LazyTown makes an extensive publishing deal with Santillana in Mexico
The deal gives Santillana the rights to manufacture a broad range of LazyTown books in Mexico, Central America, South America and in the Caribbean territories of the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Puerto Rico. This is the biggest publishing deal that LazyTown has made in these regions.

LazyTown nominated for BAFTA awards
LazyTown was today nominated for a BAFTA awards for best international children program. The awards ceremony will take place on November 30th at the Hilton hotel in London. Magnus Scheving, the creator of LazyTown, will be attending the ceremony as well as presenting an award.

With fantastic TV ratings in Eastern Europe, LazyTown is fast becoming the biggest children’s brand in the territory and has just made a few big deals in the region. These publishing deals encompass books and magazines in several Eastern European countries.

A recent study shows that packaging plays a big role in children’s perception of which foods they like and dislike. In the study, a variety of healthy foods were distributed to pre-school children, some in traditional packaging and some in LazyTown packaging.

LazyTown supports the Mexican Teletón
The LazyTown show was a huge hit at the Mexican Teletón held in Mexico City last Saturday. Teletón is a 24 hour broadcast that helps raise money to build rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities.
